Tell us about your career path at MTK.
I started at Matrikon in our administration “pool” and then became the administrator for various groups, departments and executives. Now I work in the Health Safety and Environment department.
What do you appreciate about working here?
The sense of community that grabs you from the moment you walk in the front door. I have worked at many large companies and have never gotten the feeling of being in a family like I do at Matrikon. Everyone works very hard to promote the sense of belonging, whether you have been at Matrikon for 20 years or two weeks.
What have you learned from your experiences?
There is no other company quite like Matrikon anywhere. It is really unique. It is not just a place to go to work everyday; it is a way of life. The values and work ethic that Matrikon promotes and believes in makes you want to be a better person and employee. It makes you want to go that extra mile to ensure that every client (internal or external) gets the value they deserve.
What makes you proud to be a Matrikon employee?
Matrikon puts a lot of emphasis on "Heart". You need to have heart to work here, we want our clients to be fully satisfied and we don’t quit until they are. Anyone can just "do the job" but only special people will go the extra mile.
