It is increasingly important to ensure that our Process Environments are protected from these threats to our Plant Safety and Security while maintaining the flow of information from the process to the business.
Using the correct network design and operational principals, process systems can to a large extent be protected from intentional system attacks, accidental system conflicts, software viruses and Trojan horses. Most if not all of these problems can be controlled and potentially eliminated.
