|
Companies that mine, process, stockpile and sell bulk materials, base and precious
metals need real-time visibility into their supply chain in order to get the most
from their assets and resources.
Matrikon Mine to Port provides the right people the data they need, when they need
it and in the format that makes the most sense and delivers the most value to them.

KPI Manager
Meaningful KPIs are complex and require data integration from multiple sources.
KPI Manager allows users to define and configure KPIs relevant to their functional
area in the production process.
From operators to planners to executives, the KPI manager provides custom dashboards
that deliver clear visibility into relevant operational and business goals, allowing
users to compare plans versus actuals, detect non-conformance events, drill down to
find the root causes of these problems, and continuously monitor complex performance
indicators.
By visualizing the supply chain in real time, decision makers can plan, monitor progress,
act on disturbances quickly, and monitor goal progress.

|
Plan Manager
Track planned, actual, and accounted for material as it flows through your assets
and easily compare plan versus actual, schedule versus actual, and actual versus
reconciled.
Actively compare these plans against each other to create the backbone for an
integrated planning, scheduling, and accounting system that enables supply
planning, plant production planning, unit & inventory planning, unit target/blend
recipe setting, and unit optimization or online blend optimization.

|
Ore Source Manager
Resource, Reserve and Grade Control model estimates (quantity and quality) from mine
planning systems, such as Surpac, Datamine and XPAC, can be imported into Ore Source
Manager to allow comparison of the models to the actual results of extraction and/or
mine haulage.
Comprehensive analysis provides indicators on the predictability and accuracy of the
mine designs and the efficiency of mine/haulage activities.

Material Movements Manager
Accurate capture of material movement information across the mining chain is pivotal
for inventory updating, yield analysis, reconciliation and reporting, including
monitoring of scheduled compared to actual results.
Data is accessed from real-time systems, mobile equipment dispatch and plant historians,
to ensure accuracy and ease of collection. Alternatively, a Log Book is available for
manual data entry.

Inventory Manager
Inventory Manager enables complete management of stockpile quantities and
qualities using the average, LIFO and FIFO balancing types. Stockpiles can
be defined by categories and location to handle stock ownership and
compositions.

Train Manager
Train Manager covers all aspects of a train cycle: Port - Mine - Port Return.
Scheduled and actual train movements are tracked, as is the loading and unloading
operations. Train loading and unloading activities can be tracked by train,
consist, or wagon.

Marine & Port Manager
Marine & Port Manager covers the planning and execution of contract orders,
vessel nominations, berth allocation, hatch planning and loading, draft survey,
and certificate of analysis processes. It integrates with the plant historian
and vessel scheduling package to ensure demurrage costs are minimized.

Reconciliation and Mass Balancing
The reconciliation envelopes with the associated material movements and inventories
are derived automatically from the Matrikon Mine to Port database. The reconciliation
engine handles complex problems involving measurement equations, linear and non-linear
balance equations and non-linear constraints.
Diagnostics are performed on the data, taking into account measurement tolerances and
constraints prior to reconciling the envelope - the mining value chain. Reconciled
results are stored as a separate version to the original values to allow comparison
of the mine factors.

Matrikon™ Downtime Reporter
Decision makers can address and reduce lost opportunities resulting in sustainable
improvements in productivity and reduced equipment downtime. Enable complete
reporting on the cause and cost of missed opportunities or downtime associated
with achieving targeted production.
Matrikon™ Downtime Reporter includes a unique tree-mapping function for rapid
identification of problem areas; associating costs to downtime for identification
of worst performers; and report reliability factors such as MTTR, MTTF and MTBF.
