The Matrikon Achievement Awards categories include:

equipment monitoring, reduced manpower with alarm management or reduced
maintenance costs.
Best Practices, awarded for improvements made toward quality control, reliability
and performance through research, knowledge and experience.
Operational Excellence, awarded for superior partnering of technology with people
in making operational improvements and change.
Category winners will receive $5000 in software, positive exposure for their organization, and recognition among peers, colleagues and co-workers.

The awards will be presented during the Matrikon Summit; the data technology conference for industry executives, process control engineers and other professionals, May 7-10 in Chicago.
