The end of the year is a great opportunity to reflect on the year past and plan
for the year ahead. 2009 was, by any definition, a difficult year for many. The
economic downturn affected many of our clients as resource prices came off record
highs, crashing hard and leaving massive uncertainty in their wake. Instead of
maximizing production, many companies have had to change course and seek fresh
ways to optimize their operations and improve efficiency.
At Matrikon, our focus is on enabling you to achieve Operational Excellence, the

representing another 36%, and the rest of the world making up the final 14%. With
