Collaboration has been a consistent theme throughout the history of Honeywell’s
control performance monitoring technology. The original Matrikon product,
Process Doctor, was created in 1997 and one of the contributing engineers
involved later joined Honeywell to create the Loop Scout product. This
collaboration continues today following the recent acquisition of Matrikon by Honeywell.
