The New MatrikonOPC Server for Modbus 4.2

The new release of the MatrikonOPC Server for Modbus has reached a new level of functionality and performance for Modbus users. Upgrades to the server for version 4.2 include improved performance for bound checking, and notification from the user interface, as well as increased write speed with the touch of a button.

This unique OPC Server is specifically designed to simulate another OPC Server’s tag behaviors providing users with a mirror image of the actual device tag information in a simulated environment. Development on HMI screens, or operator training can be conducted from any location in a simulated environment based off of real system data.



The OPC server for MOSCAD provides real time data access to Motorola's family of Remote Terminal Units (RTU's) also called "MOSCAD". The OPC server connects through Motorola's MCP-T SCADA gateway to provide OPC connectivity to a range of solutions that include: small remote telemetry applications, large scale SCADA systems in industry such as Rail infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Mining and Resource, Power Utilities and Water.
