Process Control Analysis and Tuning Workshop
|
We live in an increasingly homogeneous world. The differences between your plant and
your competitors’ plants are decreasing. These days, creating and maintaining a competitive
edge depends on continually improving the skill level of your personnel.
Our Process Control Analysis and Tuning Workshop will improve the knowledge and skills of
your personnel. The Workshop focuses on teaching the basics of process control with a
practical, hands-on approach.
On successful completion of the Workshop attendees will be able to:
Identify different dynamic process types.
Design a basic control strategy for the different dynamic
process types.
Understand the theory of using analytical methods to tune
PID controllers.
Understand the basic techniques of enhanced Process
Control.
Have basic skills in the use of ProcessACT, Prototyping and
Control Software.
Have basic skills in the use of Techmation Protuner Control
Loop Tuning Software.
Have basic skills in the use of instrumentation/actuator
principles and how they relate to Process
Control.
Course Overview:
Section 1 - The Digital PID Controller
Section 2 - Industrial Processes
Section 3 - Process Dynamics
Section 4 - Measurement and Control
Section 5 - Control Loop Analysis and Tuning
Section 6 - Control Loop Assessment
Section 7 - Enhanced Control Techniques
