Webcast Information

If you are like most electric utilities and independent power producers (IPPs), you know that generation is the next frontier for NERC CIP compliance. In the coming few years, almost all generating plants of even modest size will need to comply with some or all of the CIP requirements. This is a large undertaking given the magnitude and complexity of the standard.

There are many steps that will be required to comply, and the need to schedule some work during plant outages. Now is the time for your organization to start preparing. What do you do first? Second? Last? That's how to eat the elephantone bite at a time.

Join us to get answers to these and other questions:

·        What is the first thing you need to do?

·        Which solutions cover the most requirements?

·        Where do you start with documentation?

·        What are the smart choices to make now to help with ongoing maintenance and management?

Matrikon Industrial Security and Compliance has assessed more generation facilities for NERC CIP compliance than any other cyber consulting services vendor—over 50 plants, with more being assessed every day. We have assessed all types of plants: hydro, gas turbine, combined cycle and coal. Our consultants have worked with over 60 different control systems from all major vendors. We have five years of experience helping the electric sector comply with NERC CIP, and we are one of twelve voting members of the NERC CIPC’s Control Systems Security Working Group (CSSWG).
